What is the Diabetes Education Application?

The Diabetes Education Application is a tool on Android and iOS that provides informational videos and games on dealing with diabetes.

Deapp (pronounced deep) is based around a concept called flipped learning where the patient and family learn the curriculum and information needed to self-manage their Type 1 Diabetes at their own speed. At the end of each session, the Health Care Professionals at the hospital test the patient's knowledge using props that go with each session such as the ones depicted below:
